Who we are
The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), acting through the ITSPMO and the Secretariat, is the data controller for information submitted through this portal.
What we collect
Organisation and contact details, the content of your idea, and any documents you upload. We also record submission and status-change events for audit purposes.
Why we collect it
To receive, acknowledge, triage, and evaluate your idea, and to communicate the outcome to you.
Lawful basis
Processing is carried out in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) on the basis of your consent and the legitimate functions of NRS.
How we protect it
Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS, uploads are scanned for malware, and access is restricted to authorised review-team members through role-based controls.
Retention
Submission data is retained for a minimum of five years in line with NRS records-management policy.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable law, by contacting the Secretariat.
